what is wayfinding
wayfinding encompasses all the ways in which people orient themselves in space: knowing where you are, where to go, choosing the best route to your destination, recognizing it upon arrival, and being able to find your way back

When we enter an environment, we expect to find our way intuitively through architecture, landmarks and the natural elements of that place. We choose the destination, how we will get there and which route we will take. All decisions are interlinked. In this context, Wayfinding helps us to recognize where we are, where we want to go, the best way to proceed, and how to get back.
A Wayfinding project is developed to facilitate the identification of routes without adding noise to the decision making process for those circulating in a specific location. It must convey security of movement while encouraging occupants to explore spaces.
Wayfinding must account for the cultural particularities of each location. In addition to understanding the greater context of the environments for which we design, we have to observe the behavior of people circulating there. In order to define the correct strategies to be implemented, considering the ability of people to interpret and remember information communicated by the system is essential.
A good Wayfinding Design solution allows for dialogue between an environment and its occupants in order to bring identity and meaning to spaces, reveal their history, and, often, make their complexity understandable. The purpose is to have a significant and beneficial effect on the way in which people relate to their environments on a daily basis, allowing for the exploration of paths with autonomy and efficiency, and for the enjoyment of positive experiences.

what we do
places with thoughtful signage, welcoming and uncomplicated, where people can circulate intuitively
our designs add value to spaces, making them more pleasant and safe
our essence
safely guide while promoting autonomy
our promise
provide positive experiences while people perceive and move through spaces
our mission
connect people, and strengthen the identity of and assign meaning to the places they inhabit

how we do it
we deliver smart and unique solutions to connect people to places using our expertise, technical knowledge and empathy
we relate function and aesthetics, facilitating a dialogue between people and spaces
we are passionate about meeting challenges and bringing ideas to life, about positively impacting people’s interaction with places and using design as a tool for action and empowerment in an increasingly complex world
why do we do it
spaces without a wayfinding strategy can result in a negative user experience
excessive detail or a lack of strategy result in confusing or contradictory information
our work always considers integration with a physical space, and connecting with the architecture, history, and context of a place
we believe in design as a tool for solving problems, influencing the way people move in spaces, and bringing more meaning to this
