description
The wayfinding project for the Parreiras 153 development was designed in direct dialogue with the architectural principles of the building, characterized by a timeless and sophisticated aesthetic. The proposal aimed to reflect the elegance and sobriety of the built space, translating these qualities into a visual language that is clear, functional, and integrated with the environment.
The architecture of Parreiras 153 features a strong identity marked by continuous lines, well-defined volumes, and the use of noble, natural materials, as well as a prominent presence of vegetation. The angled balconies are a standout element, adding dynamism to the facade and serving as direct inspiration for the structure of the signage system.
Based on this foundation, the wayfinding was designed with a focus on sophistication and visual clarity. The use of simplified vertical forms reinforces the architectural language, emphasizing the building’s verticality and contemporary lines. The choice of a modern, all-caps typeface ensures consistency, easy readability, and elegance.
The color palette starts with a neutral base, complemented by the strategic use of crystal acrylic transparencies, bringing lightness and refinement to the system. The contrast is subtle, prioritizing visual sobriety and contributing to harmony with other elements in the space.
The signage system’s layout and grid were developed from the geometric logic of the facade, respecting its proportions and repetition of elements, creating a sense of continuity between the building and the signage — reinforcing the cohesion between form and function.
The result is a wayfinding system that goes beyond orientation: it enhances the spatial experience, acting as an extension of the architectural project. A signage design that communicates discreetly, yet with personality — just like Parreiras 153 itself.
